Environmental Engineering sponsors NASSCO's Environmental Star Awards each year during National Pollution Prevention Week. NASSCO employees nominate those individuals, teams, departments and organizations who demonstrate environmental excellence in their processes, attitudes, and actions. The Compliance Assurance Committee chooses winners in each category and NASSCO President Frederick Harris presents the awards during a luncheon where all nominees are recognized for their "Commitment to our Environment."
