NASSCO has extensive experience in all phases of new ship construction for the U.S. Navy.
Since the early 1960s, NASSCO has designed and built 63 large, ocean-going vessels for the Navy. NASSCO-built ships include combat logistics support ships, amphibious ships, destroyer tenders, hospital ships, and a variety of strategic sealift and other support ships.
