Frederick J. Harris
Frederick J. Harris, President of General Dynamics NASSCO
Frederick J. Harris became president of General Dynamics NASSCO and a vice president of General Dynamics Corporation in January 2006. Prior to that, Harris was the senior vice president of Programs at General Dynamics Electric Boat, where he was responsible for the execution of all submarine design, construction and repair programs.
As president of General Dynamics NASSCO, Harris is credited with the turnaround of the U.S. Navy's T-AKE auxiliary program. Within 18 months of his appointment, T-AKE ships were being delivered on or ahead of schedule and on or under budget, with improved performance on each subsequent hull. Harris' willingness to seek out new methods of production and his recognition of the need to reach out to international shipbuilders to learn and apply best practices has made NASSCO one of the nation's most efficient shipyards.
David J. Carver, Vice President of Repair
David Carver became the vice president of Repair for General Dynamics NASSCO in July 2008. He is responsible for overseeing NASSCO's ship repair business, including production, engineering, purchasing, subcontracts administration, contracting and estimating of repair activities.
Donald H. Dame, Vice President of Human Resources
Donald H. Dame became vice president of Human Resources for General Dynamics NASSCO in January 2006. In this position, he is responsible for all benefits, personnel, labor relations, worker's compensation, safety, training and education, and communications.
Steve Davison, Vice President of Operations Support
Steve Davison was named vice president of Operations Support in June 2005. He oversees planning, production control, build strategy and operations analysis, information systems, transportation and tool control for NASSCO. Previously he was director of planning and facilities engineering.
Kevin M. Graney, Vice President of Operations
Kevin M. Graney became vice president of Operations for General Dynamics NASSCO in January 2013. He oversees the company’s the manufacturing execution of NASSCO’s ship construction programs. He had previously served as NASSCO's vice president of programs since March 2010.
Michael Askew, Vice President and General Counsel
Michael Askew is vice president and general counsel for General Dynamics NASSCO. He oversees legal, export and environmental engineering functions. Mr. Askew began his career with General Dynamics as senior assistant general counsel at General Dynamics Electric Boat.
Timothy P. McCue, Vice President of Engineering
Timothy P. McCue was named vice president of Engineering in May, 2010, assuming responsibility for all engineering and design for General Dynamics NASSCO. Previously he served as the director of marketing and strategic planning since joining NASSCO in June 2006.
Kevin Mooney, Vice President of Programs
Kevin Mooney became vice president of Programs in January 2013. In this role, he oversees the company's shipbuilding and repair programs, production management, quality assurance and business development activities.
William Cuddy, Vice President of Supply Chain Management
William Cuddy became vice president of Supply Chain Management, for General Dynamics NASSCO in January 2013. In this role, he is responsible for the procurement of all material and services for new construction shipbuilding programs. Additionally, he manages the logistics and warehousing activities for the entire shipyard.
Matthew Luxton, Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Matthew Luxton is the vice president of Finance and chief financial officer for General Dynamics NASSCO. He is responsible for overseeing the financial performance, as well as accounting, contracts, and estimating for the business. Mr. Luxton began his career with General Dynamics in June 2005 as associate general counsel and director for General Dynamics Corporation.
